    open string roots

How can I indicate an open string root for a scale? The highlight feature doesn't work for open strings, and there's no alternative shape like a square for open strings.

    Hi Jeff

I responded to this some time ago to this via your support ticket but thought I'd respond here too, just in case any other users have the same question.

So, you can add interval or note names to open strings buy checking the 'Draw notes / intervals on open strings' box on the Board tab of the Inspector

But, as you rightly pointed out, this results in a solid (filled in) noted marker which isn't the standard for open string markers.

However, this will be changing in ND2. In fact, there won't be an open string tool in ND2, instead you'll be able to place any note marker shape, hollow or filled in any position, including open strings. You'll also be able to control the size of these independently.

Right that's another spoilers for now people

    Thanks
    Dean
