    Fingering for note markers

I am having problems adding fingering to notes in chord diagrams. With a note marker selected, I select "Fingering" from the Label dropdown in the Style section but I find that I have to re-select it for each note marker, even if I check "Apply override to whole fretboard". This makes adding fingering to note markers very tedious. Am I doing something wrong?

Ah I think I may have solved this. Do I need to set the labels to "Fingerings" in the Fretboard tab first?

    Hi RoverT,

Yes! If you want to set all notes to show fingerings then set the label type on the fretboard, which the notes will then pick up by default.

Setting it on a pre-note basis like you were doing originally is mean as an override, in case you'd want to mix different label types. The "Apply override to whole fretboard" would apply the setting for all matching notes, e.g. all D's!
