Actually you're doing this the hard way

If you look on the Board tab, there's a master "Note marker labels" field which applies the option to all notes on the fretboard. So if you set it to "Notes" there then you don't have to change it for every note.

You only really need to change it from "As fretboard" on the note markers themselves if you want to mix different things on the fretboard for some reason!
