Ah I think I may have solved this. Do I need to set the labels to "Fingerings" in the Fretboard tab first?

I am having problems adding fingering to notes in chord diagrams. With a note marker selected, I select "Fingering" from the Label dropdown in the Style section but I find that I have to re-select...
