How to indicate position shifts/slides?

Does anyone know how to indicate a position shift? I'm creating scale diagrams for bass guitar and want to show that the second finger slides up two frets to the next position. How can I do that?

You could do that using the "Polyline" tool - it allows you to set 'decorations' on the ends so you can put an arrow on one end, which would indicate a position shift like this:
