We've already got some macro support - it's described on page 3 (section "Rich Text Editing") of the "What's New in ND2" doc you should see in the Diagram Gallery. Here's the musical symbol shortcuts:
- {b} flat
- {#} sharp
- {n} natural
- {hd} half-diminished
- {d} diminished
- {bb} double flat
- {##} double sharp
- {M} major (delta/triangle)
Just type the macro in the braces and it'll get replaced by the musical symbol. They export safely too.

Ah, this sounds like the issue we've come across exporting certain languages such as Japanese. Will likely be fixed in the next update!
