Nut Question

I'm trying to generate a chord grid sheet. How do I make the nut a fret??

Somehow your post escaped my attention, apologies!

Not quite sure I follow your question - you can place any kind of note marker just behind the nut, to indicate playing of open strings, or not if you place a mute 'X' marker there..

If you're not able to do so then you'd probably hidden the area just behind the nut - there's a section in the Inspector's fretboard settings (first tabe) for the "Mute/Open String Area" which has a checkbox titled "Show" - make sure this is checked! There's some screenshots in this post, on a slightly different topic but you should spot the checkbox I'm referring to..
