note names after diagram

Hi there.

When I make a new diagram I get the note names listed to the right of the diagram.

How do I stop this happening?

Hi Homebelly,

It sounds like you've got the legend option set to show note names. Click on the fretboard and in the Inspector view on the right select the Legend tab (third one along) and change either Row 1 or Row 2 labels to "None".

This post answers the opposite question (how to show info at the end of the fretboard!) but it has a screenshot which should help make things clearer!

Also if you're getting the note names in the legend for every new fretboard, then you probably have enabled this in the Preferences. If you go to the Preferences window, click on the "Fretboard" entry in the list on the left the you'll see "Labels" options including Legend Rows 1 & 2, one of which you've maybe set to Note Names!
